No gambling for me, but a tip/fancy in that 1.40 would be that M Meade has only ever had one runner at Ayr and it was in this same race last year and won.
Is the favourite, but the jockey rarely goes there either with only 3 rides in the last 5 years in jock land.

Skybet doing an offer on the 1.40 at Ayr where they will match any winnings as a free bet. I.E £10 on a 4/1 winner you will receive £50 and a free £40 bet. Tough race but a decent offer

I once went into the William Hills down Commercial Street where I spent a lot of lunchtimes to do just that and when he looked o nthe screen, he also saw all of the non-runner money back bets also in my handwriting that I had always thought had just lost over the previous year.
£95 back, so I'd missed that 19 bloody horses hadn't even raced.
Absolute result and helps if the person behind the counter isn't a massive wanker obviously.

Piece of piss Ex, go to the bookies and just tell them roughly what time you placed the bet.
All computerised and they'll be able to bring it up on the screen and see it hasn't been paid out on.
You just need to fill in a claim slip exactly how you would have written the bet so that they can match the handwriting up and then sign off on it.
Job done, £40/80 in the back bin ready to re-invest :o)
